we just got back from trying to conceive you. impatient with the process and potentially misled by a faulty ovulation reader, it’s quite possible we executed a premature insemination which would mean your mom and i will have to wait one more month to get at you! on the other hand, the quigley’s (nana’s family) are known for their many children and the donor sperm ranked solid in its performance tests (count, motility and direction-orientedness) – basically meaning, there’s a lot of sperm (66 million!), they are speedy enough to make the long egg journey, and all are swimming in the right direction to get there. so we will wait and see and continue waiting and seeing until you are ready to be known. we love you already.
